The Promise

It is hard to narrow the Word of God down to one promise. There are so many.

It is said that there are over 900 promises from God to man written in the Bible. I believe that, although I have never counted them. I am, quite honestly, not that patient. I am more of an instant gratification type of gal. It is not that I am not willing to work for it. I just don’t necessarily enjoy searching through things that may or may not be what I am looking for. I would rather have someone point it out to me and then I can work it from there.

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

That is what this section is about. It is the “go here” section on understanding and receiving the promises of God. It is direction. It is up to you to do the work.

Our God is a fulfill-er of promises. He is waiting on us. Hebrews 11:6 says that God rewards those who diligently seek Him. It also says that you must come to God in believing.

The promise: God rewards those who diligently seek Him.
The condition: You must come to Him in believing.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
